Alongside the islands, cliffs and jungle, Krabi offers something you encounter in a short conversation, a shop or a restaurant: people from different backgrounds sharing the same space.

Buddhists, Muslims, Christians and people of other beliefs live here, together with residents and visitors from many countries. These encounters are part of our local experience.

Our experience of living here

Through our work in tourism and hospitality, we are in daily contact with residents, suppliers and guests. In our experience, the atmosphere is generally calm and respectful, with room for people from different backgrounds to meet and work together.

During our years of working here, we have not personally encountered an antisemitic incident. This is our personal experience, which we share honestly; it is not a guarantee about every person, place or situation.

Respect begins with a small encounter

The best way to know a place is to meet the people who live there: ask politely, listen, respect local customs and remember that we are guests in their home.

We do not have to agree on everything to enjoy a conversation or receive good service. Curiosity and a willingness to discover something different often create the best holiday memories.

Many reasons to come, and many ways to discover

Krabi has islands, cliffs, forests, marine life, food and entertainment. You can choose a full day of activity, or slow down and make time for local life as well.

We invite you to arrive with curiosity, meet people and discover Krabi through both its scenery and the encounters along the way.
